This contemporary papaya art piece is embroidered on sheer orange silk organza and features a vivid orange outline, excentuating the papayas curves, and sliky black seeds in the centre.

Due to how delicate organza is please allow for fraying on the cut edge. I would recommend framing the piece, as pictured. If you decided to wear the piece treat it with extra care and dry clean only.

All embroideries are drawn, embroidered and finished in the UK by Ellie Mac using a vintage freehand Singer sewing machine. Due to the nature of freehand machine embroidery, expect slight variations from one piece to the next.

Care Instructions

Embroidery is delicate and needs to be treated with care, please bear this in mind when handling and stitching down. It is recommended the patches are attached to items of clothing that do not require regular laundering, patches are dry clean only.

Embroidered patches should be positioned using the iron on backer, then fully secured by hand stitching around the border.
