ABOUT

Since establishing in 2015, British artist and embroidery designer Ellie Mac has been creating and embroidering her own limited edition artworks, most notably her unique patches, alongside collaborating with artists and designers from other disciplines. All with the aim of creating something new and exciting within the world of embroidery. 

From her studio in Brighton UK, Ellie works on a freehand embroidery machine where every piece is drawn, freehand machine embroidered, washed and cut by hand. These miniature pieces of embroidery have been collected by many over the years and used to adorn clothes or hang as art in homes. 

Her family background in sourcing vintage textiles features prominently in her inspiration and finished pieces, and where possible she uses vintage fabrics & trims within her work, resulting in special limited edition collections.
