Join Ellie in her Brighton studio for an intimate behind the scenes embroidery experience.
Guests are invited to view portfolio samples, with discussions around technique, process and inspiration. Set within a dynamic shared creative studio we hope to offer a rare insight into this specialist craft.

Tutoring
With over 20 years experience in the industry, and a specialism in freehand machine embroidery, Ellie is now offering 1-2-1 tuition in her Brighton studio. Whether you are total beginner looking to invest in a machine or own a machine and looking to hone your skills Ellie can tailor a session just for you. She hopes you will love Irish embroidery as much as she does and aims to offer a nurturing and inspiring experience. Sessions start at £250
Workshops
We offer bespoke embroidery workshops for smaller groups and larger venues.
Intimate sessions (4-6 people) are collaborative and tailored to you. Blending Ellie's signature freehand machine embroidery with guided hand embroidery that everyone can take part in.
For larger events and brand activations, we provide engaging workshops that provide an insight into Ellie's practice with accessible hands on elements, creating a meaningful and creative shared experience.
Embroidery X Screen Printing Workshops
Come and join Brighton designers Sophie Darling & Ellie Mac Embroidery for a unique, immersive workshop blending screen printing, metallic foiling and freehand embroidery.
During our creative session you'll explore each artist's signature techniques and leave with your own hand-printed and embroidered miniature artwork.
