A bold and sculptural handcrafted poppy, inspired by the striking Matilija Poppy, also known as the fried egg flower. Each petal is carefully pleated to create volume and texture, while the centre is freehand machine embroidered and filled with soft wool wadding for added dimension.
Designed to be worn as a statement piece, these flowers can be pinned or hand-stitched to clothing, or framed as artwork.

Embroidery is delicate and needs to be treated with care, please bear this in mind when handling and stitching down. It is recommended the patches are attached to items of clothing that do not require regular laundering, patches are dry clean only.
Embroidered patches should be positioned using the iron on backer, then fully secured by hand stitching around the border.
