This new limited edition, embroidered 'seafood platter' minature artwork is part of a collaborative collection with artist and ceramist Alma Berrow. Together we’ve created one off pieces of ceramics, limited edition embroidered artworks and embroidered table linen.

The embroidered platter is made using appliquéd vintage silk satin remnants on pure wool felt.

These pieces of embroidery art can be applied to clothing or used to adorn your home.

All embroideries are drawn, handcrafted and finished in the UK using a vintage sewing machine by Ellie Mac. Due to the nature of freehand machine embroidery, expect slight variations from one piece to the next.

Care Instructions

Embroidery is delicate and needs to be treated with care, please bear this in mind when handling and stitching down. It is recommended the patches are attached to items of clothing that do not require regular laundering, patches are dry clean only.

Embroidered patches should be positioned using the iron on backer, then fully secured by hand stitching around the border.

Use a low to medium heat setting on your iron, and avoid excessive pressure or prolonged ironing. Allow the garment to cool completely before handling to ensure the patch is securely adhered and then it can be stitched on, as advised.

Product Safety

When handling freehand embroidered patches and artwork please avoid using harsh chemicals, excessive heat, and rough handling as this can damage the stitches or backing and effect the integrity of both the embroidery and the fabric it's attached to.

Keep embroidered artworks away from direct sunlight and excessive moisture, as these can cause fading and damage

Our patches are embroidered on pure wool felt. Patches, artworks and napkins are posted in recylable packaging, care instructions are included in the packaging.
