‘Welcome to Paradise’ is a one-off 23ct gold leaf and embroidered collaborative artwork which was made to celebrate Alex May Hughes solo show ‘Love Language’.
This large scale artwork, measuring 41cm X 71cm, features a freehand machine embroidered parrot by Ellie Mac Embroidery and the painted gold leaf glass artwork by sign painter and glass gilder Alex May Hughes.

Care Instructions
Embroidery is delicate and needs to be treated with care, please bear this in mind when handling and stitching down. It is recommended the patches are attached to items of clothing that do not require regular laundering, patches are dry clean only.
Embroidered patches should be positioned using the iron on backer, then fully secured by hand stitching around the border.
