Some examples of custom vintage linens we have embroidered this year including some lovely personal commissions. These have all been embroidered in a classic Old English font bringing a sense of nostalgia to these heirlooms. The linens have all come from our family collection and we have others available if you wanted to enquire about bespoke pieces.
We would love to work on any special commissions in this style, if you have a loved phrase or slogan and would like to enquire about embroidering this on to a piece of vintage linen, get in touch at info@elliemacembroidery.com. Prices for custom pieces start at £95, linen prices vary depending on the piece used and the length of the wording.
Due to the age of the vintage linens used please expect slight imperfections on the cloth. Only two available on this style of linen.

Care Instructions
Care Instructions
Embroidery is delicate and should be handled with care to preserve the integrity of the stitching. We recommend dry cleaning only for all embroidered products, including tablecloths, napkins and patches.
Tablecloths & Napkins
Dry clean only. Avoid machine washing, soaking or excessive rubbing, as these may affect the fabric and embroidery.
Embroidered Patches
Embroidery is delicate and needs to be treated with care when handling and stitching down. We recommend attaching patches to garments that do not require regular laundering, as patches are dry clean only.
Position the patch using the iron-on backing, then secure it fully by hand-stitching around the border. Use a low to medium heat setting on your iron, avoiding excessive pressure or prolonged ironing. Allow the garment to cool completely before handling, then finish by hand-stitching around the border to secure the patch.
Product Safety
Product Safety
When handling freehand embroidered patches and artwork please avoid using harsh chemicals, excessive heat, and rough handling as this can damage the stitches or backing and effect the integrity of both the embroidery and the fabric it's attached to.
Keep embroidered artworks away from direct sunlight and excessive moisture, as these can cause fading and damage
Our patches are embroidered on pure wool felt. Patches, artworks and napkins are posted in recylable packaging, care instructions are included in the packaging.
