Collection: Alma Berrow X Ellie Mac Embroidery Tablescape Collaboration

Alma and Ellie first connected on Instagram in 2021, quickly discovering a shared visual language and mutual admiration for one another’s work. Bringing together Alma’s playful, narrative imagery with Ellie’s intricate hand-guided embroidery, the pair have since developed an ongoing creative collaboration inspired by food, gathering, ritual and the everyday objects found around the table.

For this latest chapter of their collaboration, they have created two limited-edition embroidered tablescapes, DAY & NIGHT, designed to be used, gathered around and lived with. Together, the two cloths move through scenes of seasonal lunches, lingering afternoons, dinners and after-hours excess.

DAY evokes long summer lunches and seasonal abundance, scattered with sardines, tomatoes, radishes, lemon slices, apple cores and traces of rosé-stained afternoons. NIGHT shifts into something richer and more debauched, with poker chips, playing cards, cigars and caviar capturing tables left dishevelled long after the evening has ended.

Alongside the DAY and NIGHT tablecloths, the collaboration extends into a capsule collection of cotton napkins, available in two sets of four. Featuring motifs drawn from the tablescapes, each set echoes the scenes and details found within the DAY and NIGHT themes.

Each tablecloth is carefully handcrafted in natural white organic cotton and embroidered in Ellie’s studio using her vintage freehand embroidery machine. Due to the hand-guided nature of the process, every piece carries slight variations, making each work unique.

Please allow approximately 6–8 weeks for your tablecloth to be embroidered.
